Space Saving Stairs

Space Saving StairsBuilding a closet to save space under the stairs style.?

I have a new raised ranch. I'm finishing the basement. I framed the most part, but I do not know how to get more space on the space under my staircase that descends into the basement (its been going down the stairs on my floor main door entrance ... which then turns down into the basement), I can walk under it ... 4'x4'x7 "- until it begins to slope downward. I then have area A 3'x3 'open space under the stairs. The best example is the permanent part of the women I want to turn into something:%% 20New% http://www.trebacz.com/Family 20Pictures/2004_03_06 20House/pages/2004_03_06% 20004% 20on% 20the% 20Allison 20Stairs%. htm
I appriciate ideas / plans / pictures .. nothing!
I was hoping serious and detailed ideas. A door does not allow a closet, making it a closet, is the invention of print, cubbyholes, and save space for other ideas that help inventional pack shit and elegant.

I just saw something like that on a show. They have libraries of different heights and at the very front with the cabinet doors of various sizes to make something completely different built in. The cool part was the case withdrawn. They were on wheels and had baskets for mittens and stuff and the rest were used for shoes. I'm sure I've seen on HGTV, but do not remember the show. Ask a carpenter, he would probably know or could build one. Good luck!
