Anyone have a chance of MO with wildflower seeds? It is a small packet of wildflower mix of premium baby's breath, cornflower blue large, Siberian wallflower, scarlet flax, coreopsis lanceolata, rocket larkspur, CA poppy Annual Indian blanket, pink purple , perennial blue flax, Mexican hat, black-eyed Daisy Shasta, Susan shirly Poppy, Catchfly. I just thought I'd try it on the side of my house to the south along the house where it receives the sun all day.
I tried the little packets of seeds and it seems that not much happens. On the one hand, it is difficult to identify wildflowers weeds because there is no picture of what the germs in the air and there is so much variety. Plant them in good smoke-free / seedless soil so that you know the germs from your package. And make sure the water. Good luck. I was very lucky to better buy in larger quantities of Wildseedfarms.com. If I just plant a couple of varieties, so I know what happens. In addition, some flowers do not bloom the first year so do not be discouraged by this.
Those that work best for me are coreopsis, Shasta daisies, purple cone flowers and the cosmos. Black Eyed trays came out of nowhere in every sense on their own it seems.
I've never had them grow. But good. Try. Sounds like a good place too.
