What should I use to clean my sensor Nikon D90? Yesterday, I discovered that my sensor is a bit dusty and some can be seen as something a little fiber to the naked eye. I decided to clean it, but I'm not really sure what to use for this? I have heard much of Giotto Rocket, but am not sure that this fan would be sufficient. Giotto Rocket Air Blower Is good enough for cleaning? Thank you!
Just use a blower bulb operated by hand. Point the camera down, find the menu item for cleaning the sensor, use it to return the mirror, then use a couple of plans for clean air. Do not use canned compressed air.
You can also do a wet cleaning (search around it), but I have not had the courage to try it. About once a year I take my camera body in a good shop I know them cleaned. I think they charge $ 15 each.
The sensor must be clean, go into your menu and find "image sensor clean
Unless your talking about the mirror? They have these brushes are made of light for the cameras, u can find them at Walmart, I use it to brush the dust carefully. Make sure its made for the cameras.
outstanding response from Esquire Reed DC
I'm scared of fluids, today I cleaned a sensor 20 with a blower brush, then took some shots in the garden, he worked
touch sensor and have nothing, do what Esquire said Reed DC
What is the function of a Clean Sensor D90? Have you even been? I would say that for the first use, then go with what DC recommends.
Look under the menu, setup menu, cleaning the sensor.
