Planet Waves Guitar Straps

Well, so I bought what I think, leather guitar strap is a registered Planet Waves, and he is so confused that someone knows how to get it on my guitar?

For a chance that you try to put on an acoustic guitar? If so, use either leather lace, a button to get Martin detachable strap, or have a guitar tech install a new strap button on the side of the heel of acute neck.
