Tromso, Norway - which guide? Looking Lonely Planet, or in Norway (of course), or Scandinavian Lonely Planet Guide to Europe.
The latter is only 100 pages covering more in several countries, but would it be better for Northern Norway?
The council appreciated

Know the Lonely Planet, but not the Scandinavian countries or Norway, I do not buy one for the country where I intend to go this year and next.
The smallest of the region, more info about the places you will get.
In the guide Norway, Tromso chapter is likely to be two times longer than in Scandinavia.
But that is of general rules, perhaps for some reason in this case is different.
And if you plan to travel to Sweden and Finland, it is useful to buy most.
I called in Tromso that the end of the war, German troops were still guard the barracks and at 3:00, we walked the streets in broad daylight and it seemed strange to see people walking their dogs etc. / / But it was very late but I can understand her now called Paris of the North. I see upside down and then Tirpits thought not many people will never see a show like that / / just print in Tromso and you should get what you want to know
try this website. it may be useful
