Dark matter and dark energy are weakly interacting with the fine scale. You must have a normal matter of exploitation on electromagnetic interactions to have the kind of appearance of the complexity required for life.

The "me" is simply the wiring of the brain to its particular place in the body. There is nothing intangible for her.
