NASA ends its rocket. But what happens if the satellite breaks? NASA? Thus, NASA ends its rocket forever .... So what will happen to the space station? it will bandard? or it will be dismantled piece by piece?
So what happens if there are satellites that should be fixed? how NASA lift a rocket into space for humans to fix the satellite? NASA has since meantion that the rocket will be retired.
I know these things ..
if someone is an expert. Thank you ... its for my school project.
We must rely on the Russians for a ride up.

NASA still has a shuttle rescue. but from now for travel to space typical, they will be using Russian technology as it is cheaper for NASA.
they said no more missions will be by shuttle, and it will be retired. rescue team is always ready to fly.
It's just the shuttle program, which becomes pension. There are many other rockets to send things in.
1. The ISS will be provided by Soyuz, Progress, ATV and HTV. Maybe some new caps from the United States by private companies will complement them.
2. When finished, it will probably be abandoned and crashed into the Pacific Ocean. The modules will be very old and damaged and then the backbone "of the station can not be easily replaced.
3. NASA does not repair satellites officially since Challenger in 1986. Exception is the Hubble Space Telescope, which was designed for such maintenance. Manned missions to repair are usually more expensive than just sending a new satellite in space. and most satellites are also out of reach of the shuttle, which is limited to 600 km altitude.
If it breaks, it breaks. As far as I know, NASA has never used the shuttle to repair a satellite other than the Hubble Space Telescope. It is simply too expensive. Expensive to build and launch a new one.
