Nasa Coins

Nasa CoinsDid you hear they found coins era Pilate on the Shroud of Turin (burial cloth of Christ)?

Given these details, do not prove the dating of the shroud was wrong???:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shroud_of_Turin

"Researchers at NASA Jackson, Jumper and Stephenson report detecting the impressions of coins placed on both eyes after a digital study in 1978. The play of two leptons on the right eyelid was probably invented under Pilate 29-30

Image analysis by scientists at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory found that rather than being like a photographic negative, the image unexpectedly has the property of decoding into a 3-D image of the man when the parties darker the image are interpreted as specifications of the man who was closest to the jacket and bright areas of image elements that have gone farther. This is not a property that is in the photograph

Greek and Latin writing were discovered near the front. These have been studied by Andre Marion, a professor at the School. Thereafter, through analysis and computerized microdensitometer, other writings were found among them INNECEM (abbreviated from the Latin "in ibis necem" - "you're going to die"), NNAZAPE (N) NUS (Nazarene), IHSOY (Jesus) "

Yeah .... an artist who could have duplicated.

What you can not duplicate is the date .... C14 which says it is from the Middle Ages.

They know how it was made. You make a statue of what you want, then rub the material with acid and pigment. The pigment is there ... if it's a fake. It was not photography, and get right out of your head.

This is not the shroud of Jesus. Coins would not prove that he was. Even if one can prove that the shroud came from the time of Jesus, where Jesus lived, he would not prove that Jesus was the son of God or even that it existed.

The chances of surviving part of 1300 years (or simply being replicated by an artist) are much greater than the chances of independent carbon dating tests are several years beyond 1300. Are you saying that these pieces ceased to exist after the death of Pilate?

How would we know they were coins era Pilate, without something to compare them? And if we have something to compare it to this day, what makes you think they are not in the 1300s?

I have a coin era Pilate sitting on my desk. So what? Would you say they did not exist when the shroud was invented?

And yet, the shroud dates to the 1300s. This is a hoax, cope.

Ah yes, Wikipedia. You tried to use NASA as a source. If you read the article, they located a different source of what they thought about the piece - not the NASA researchers. A decent scientist will not "assume" they were a time when they are genuine, or even that they can be used for whatever the date. The source they use Father Francis Filas - A priest and biased advocate for the authenticity of the Shroud - died a quarter of a century. And you can see that in the quote from that article you posted. Thank you.

some people will believe anything. you're one of them. wikipedia? Get a life. Wikipedia is about as reliable an oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico.

If the Christians who worship envelope too?

Those who say that the Shroud is a hoax, or pretend that carbon dating proves that he is younger than they say they are far behind in their reading.

A married couple Shroud enthusiasts, using nothing but their computer and Internet connection, reviewed the evidence for carbon dating and found that the original piece made for dating came from an area where fibers have been meticulously woven into the shroud to repair it. They have shown conclusively that the carbon dating results can not be trusted ....
