Apollo is the exploration program at NASA moon. In 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men to walk on the moon with Apollo 11, the last Apollo mission was Apollo 17 in 1972. Apollo 18, 19 and 20 missions were planned, but due to budgetary constraints, they were eventually canceled.

Apollo 20 had already been canceled in January 4, 1970, the Saturn V rocket was now needed for the space station Skylab and budgetary constraints have limited the production Saturn V for the 15 original models of flight.

However, you can find a lot of false information on Apollo 20 on the Web - William Rutledge years ago, a man living in Rwanda who claimed to have been a former researcher at Bell Laboratories and employed by the U.S. Air Force has said it was top secret Soviet-American Apollo 20 mission is an alien spacecraft on the moon.

The theory of conspiracy Apollo 20 arrived on the moon 16 August 1976, about four years after the last Apollo mission official. The destination was Delporte, a lunar impact crater on the Moon is much (black) side. The crew members were William Rutledge (U.S.), Leona Snyder (USA) and Alexei Leonov (USSR), and their mission was to explore an alien spaceship apparently detected by the Apollo 15 crew (David Scott, Alfred Worden and James Irwin) in 1971.

Even if there are significant flaws in the videos that have identified the story as a hoax, it has less to admit that they are well done and look quite amazing and Rutledge (or have already published this) spent some time on the creation of models.

The story probably has its origins in an ancient history of photos taken during the Apollo 15 mission. These images are real pictures from NASA and can be downloaded from the Universities Space Research Association, for example.
