The sellers of parts or kits model rocket.? I need to build a huge rocket, so please give a site that sells model rocket parts. or large model rocket kits.
First consider your store if you have one, for several reasons: You get your hands on what you need faster and help keep them in business, which is good for the hobby general.
If your LHS is disappointing (or you do not), then your best bet for rocket parts, low-power (those who will take up motor pulse E) would be:
SEMROC http://www.semroc.com
FlisKits http://www.fliskits.com
Apogee Components http://www.apogeerockets.com
If you are looking for mid-power (F and G impulse) or high power (pulse and H above) and parts kits, consider using precision parts LOC. Departure:
Discount Rocketry http://www.discountrocketry.com
Displays Commonwealth http://www.commonwealth.net/rocketstore/
You should also consider joining one of the following forums for more information and tips on building your rocket, especially if it's your first time:
Rockets Forum http://www.rocketryforum.com
Rocketry Planet http://www.rocketryplanet.com
For more information on construction techniques and the performance of rockets in general, probably the best site Info Central http://www.info-central.org .
Finally, to help you find a place to launch your rocket and make it safe, I urge you to join either the NAR (National Association of rockets) or Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), which will help you find a club close to the range and equipment to launch your project in the air.
NAR: http://www.nar.org
TRA: http://www.tripoli.org
Good luck, fly safe and enjoy!
I used to build model rockets as a kid and I liked the Estes marks the best, some were easy some were hard to build, but they were all fun. I suggest a starter kit with a launching ramp, motors, starter, etc., they usually come with everything in the box. have fun. Just type in Estes rockets on any search engine or check this site:
