Lonely Planet Usa

Lonely Planet UsaUSA Travel Guide: What is the best available? Lonely Planet, Rough Guide, another?

Hi I travel a lot and found that the Rough Guides are very good. there is also a website, you can try giving real people real travel guides and tips. I use it all the time, take a look see what Ya Think.

I think Lonely Planet is by far the best. They are easy to read quality information published in a good way well formatted and accessible.

It depends where you go and what you want to do. I suggest you visit a bookstore and browsing through the various guides. You will probably find that you prefer writing, layout, size (!), Price and the sounds of a brand / series on another.

I love the series ten - I usually by those who, when I'm traveling to a new city and sometimes to places where I was at the front. The books are small and light. The information tends to be short and precise. They give good advice on attractions, restaurants, etc.

I use Lonely Planet, which I found to be the best ...

But there are many good there, as the imprint Travel Guides, Rough Guides, Trailblazer guides, no mention OT Bradt, Rick Steves ... Berlitz, Fodor .... checkj my links below!

depends on where you are going and what type of trip you make.

Happy Trails

Philip

I would not buy a book that made this trip could tell you about the whole United States.

I would choose either a type (such as hiking guide, guide camper, etc.) or a city or state.

The United States is a huge country and any guide tries to cover the whole is useless.

As for General Travel Guides Lonely Planet I really like. In addition, it is useful to examine the credentials of the author. I would be much happier to buy a book on New York, New Yorker a serious rather than a publisher who just googled information.
