Lonely Planet Edinburgh

Lonely Planet EdinburghTravel Scotland and the Isle of Skye Beautiful

Recently, my friend and I went to Scotland. We only decided a week earlier that we would go. After we decided to go to Scotland, we quickly booked our flight.

Once we arrived in Edinburgh, Scotland, we started planning where we would go. We ended up with the plan to the head of the sets in the west of Scotland, to go to Ilse of Skye.

That's what we did. After spending a few extra days in Edinburgh, we went to the Isle of Skye by car.

It's actually pretty easy to get to the Ilse of Skye, because you just cross a bridge to get there. Or you can always use the ferry, which I think costs about 10 pounds.

Once you are in Ilse of Skye is much too see. Just driving through the countryside is fantastic because it's not too busy and most of the island is still a bit indifferent.

Portree is the largest city Ilse of Skye which is still quite low, however. You should go there it's worth a walk and is also entitled to the coast.

The only thing we did on the Isle of Skye was to go north, at Dunvegan Castle. It is a beautiful castle which is worth seeing. But what is exceptional is what lies north of Dunvegan Castle. In the Lonely Planet we have made with us, he was described as a coral beach.

The road to it is strange and it takes about 20 minutes to get there from Dunvegan Castle. Once you are there is amazing though. The beach is beautiful and there are almost no tourists. If you plan to go to Ilse of Skye to go.

Scotland is a great country and you could miss many opportunities if you do not have the right kind of information. We have a site exclusively dedicated to tips for the trip to Scotland. We would like, if you find out! Also, if you want to know more about this beach, we will be more then happy to help.
