Use of classical studies on subcultures women discuss and explain why some young Muslims feel the need to reach Islamic extremist groups? Chapter 1: Introduction
In the brief I will try to show how young Muslims are radicalized by Islam and, finally, to join terrorist organizations. First focusing on the work of Albert Cohen on the delinquent subculture, I'll watch how the boys are part of a group of offenders. Is it only the working class who are frustrated with the company, who feel inferior to the middle class and feel they must reject the company and create their own set of rules, values and standards. However, there are also middle-class boys who feel isolated by their position in society, thereby frustrated their parents set high standards and give them no freedom and then they end up becoming criminals. I will therefore focus on the work of Ian Buruma, who wrote "Murder in Amsterdam and see what drove Mohammed Bouyeri to murder Theo Van Gogh. What Bouyeri commit an act of murder? Does the company rejected it, made him a feeling of inferiority, he was jealous of Western culture, and he turned to Islam for answers. Mohammed Bouyeri frustrations are similar to that of the frustrations of a young boy suffering in the work of Cohen. I will then discuss the radical loser and inadequate sexual and see if these factors can also cause young Muslim men to become Islamic extremists. After that, I can see that there are possible answers to fight against Islamic terrorism and finally offer a conclusion on the subject.
In introducing the topic, why the West so despised by the Middle East? Why young Muslims to join Islamic extremist groups in order to commit murder? What can these extremist groups offer young men? Are they frustrated by the company and feel they must take revenge on the infidels? Where is the future for other young Muslims? What are the responses to Islamic terrorism? These questions will be answered and we hope to shed light on this difficult area.
Before discussing these important issues just mentioned, it is important to first discuss how offenders subcultures was first performed and the main theorist around this area was Albert Cohen wrote "young Offenders.
Chapter 2: Cohen's work on juvenile subcultures
When we see a group of young people together, we immediately label them as deviant, even if they have done nothing wrong, they are considered deviant, malicious and non-utilitarian. When you think of these groups thought that these people steal things because they want to. They want to eat, wear or use, or perhaps because they can sell stolen item. These explanations assume that the possession of something is an object of value, and it is the rational choice that they steal the desired object. However, in most cases of theft in criminal gangs, not because they want the object of value, but what motivates them is the same flight. Stealing something just for a rush gives them the power and satisfaction in general been stolen may be no use to them what so ever and will be destroyed, discarded or donated (Cohen 1955 p25-26).
In the sense that the flight is done to satisfaction, the same could be said about Islamic extremists and that blowing up a building is not to motivate them, they do because they want because they can it empowers them in the same way a criminal gang steal something worthless.
"Without a doubt, most offenders are c. the most needy and disadvantaged
