Is this feeling pressure NASA to allow women to become astronauts? Why is Lisa Nowak has the status of flights? I'm for women a success in life but I sometimes wonder if some positions are given for politically correct reasons. Remember when President Bush wanted to make the unknown woman, without powers of a Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor in retirement just to appear as if it mattered that the woman take her place instead anyone, who is best qualified? If Lisa Nowak was psychologically unstable that his actions suggest, what conclusions can be made? NASA will surely change their policy on the psychological profiling after this mess is sorted.
Lisa Nowak shattered emotionally and mentally. There is no test to tell when or how this could happen. It happens to men and women. NASA has no problem with women astronauts. On the large group astrnauts we have is the first scandal to give them a break!.

Before the love triangle ", the problem would not show. It was an" afterthought "that has developed! You can be the perfect husband, and vowed never to cheat on your wife. But, then, that some woman enters your life and everything changes.
Regardless of how NASA changes its policy, it does not guarantee a similar situation will not occure.
Moreover, all this is just media news and sensationalism. Probably allocate exaggeration and it is not.
