Is it worth going to the Kennedy Space Center? Hello went to Florida to begging. July - is it worth going to the Kennedy Space Center, is this a good experience - there are many different tickets what is the best person to buy. Do not really want to have lunch with an astronaut, but some of the things that the eyes of other very good, or is it ok just to get the pass to enter and walk around.
The first time I went to the Kennedy Space Center was only because my father wanted to go, I really had no interest in the title or the desire to go. However, once I visited, I was glad I did. It's really fun, a pleasant and more relaxing than the normal theme parks. There are also opportunities for wildlife viewing high both there and along the way (it's in Merritt Island, which is a wildlife sanctuary, I saw tons of birds and turtles and alligators there). If you have an extra day to spare and want a break from the fast paced theme parks, so it can be enjoyable for you to check. Only a half-day thing and you're only 20 minutes from Cocoa Beach when you're there, I want to start at Kennedy Space Center, then head over and spend a few hours at the beach.
Regarding the tickets, general admission would be good. There is a free bus tour where you can take is a couple of long hours, but really cool, you get to go where civilians are not normally allowed.
If you're in this kind of thing that is worth a visit.
There is a live webcam on the site: http://www.myworldwebcams.com/usa/florid ...
I was last week.
I like the space I am also very interested in that.
They have a shuttle take-off roll now which is good!
Its a very interesting experience. I'm not a big fan of space stuff, but I found all this really cool to see. I really appreciated the shuttle to take the experience off.
It depends on the age of your party. If you have small children under ten or so I would certainly give it a miss.
I think Kennedy is one of those "visit once and that is sufficient: the site unless a shuttle that came to be initiated during your vacation. It is worth seeing, but it's so hot, especially in July, so that you could spend the day wishing you could jump into a pool. Get a pass that does not place all day unless there is someone in your family very interested in the space program.
