Journey Into Space

Journey Into SpacePainter Prafulla's Journey Into Space

Prafulla is one of the most senior artists and women in India. In a career spanning more than fifty years, she has gone through life as she paints. His first painting exhibition in 1962 was an interpretation of the different moods of the music in "Ragas" in the form of images. His love for the shapes and colors was immediately apparent. She attended the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris where she learned to speak in the lithographs. And there was his first interpretation of landscapes! This reflects the latest on his canvas. It alternates with stylized portraits of landscapes for the coming years. When her daughter visited with her daughter, she painted a series on the mother and child!

She liked how the monsoon has changed the landscape in the hills. It sounds as lush green paint with waterfalls and gushing rivers of congruence. But as she painted landscapes are becoming more abstract.

Soon her landscapes transformed into landscapes just. There was no recognizable land! The landscape has no beginning and no end. She began to feel the freedom of form. A collector told appreciate about his work:

"Open the window space in the paint Prafulla.

What is in space? Is freedom.

Freedom for the mind to escape.

Mindscape

Painting free the mind from tension in the infinite space.

Achieving a state of peaceful balance. Inner peace "

She realized she had achieved. She had found peace. The peace of the beautiful deep space without end! She explored the new freedom and painted feverishly, as she wrote about her painting:

"My painting represents the space that I feel. Space is the mother's womb vast universe that can take everything. Rabies Comets by tsunamis are flooding, earthquakes shook the anger, even the stars explode, but space continues to be so calm. It absorbs the full fury of nature without losing its serenity! My painting is a window of escape for the mind in this peaceful space. "

In her paintings she had found the window of the mind to escape into space. She had found a way to let his mind to explore its interior. And this window, she called Mindscape! She continued to paint pictures in his head, and she wrote:

"I'm at peace when I am ready to paint. I look at the space that opens in my mind. I feel its vibrations. It is this timeless immensity of space and nature manifests itself. It's a feeling that must be absorbed to integrate us into this universe. My painting represents this space that I feel. It is the permanence of space that can not be destroyed. Whatever happens in the universe, the space continues. Time passes, the matter turns and age, but space remains unchanged! It absorbs the full fury of nature without losing its serenity! My painting is a window to the Mind's Escape to this peaceful space: Mindscape. Painting free thought in mind that the infinite space. bring peace to your conscience. "

Next 2-3 years, she continued to paint pictures in his head that his mind kept escaping into space! And the inevitable happened. One day, she found her place! It was beautiful! She wrote:

"I started to paint the space in my paintings, which I called" Mindscapes ". Over the years these paintings evolved and now they are more fun than my pictures. They are "the eternal space itself: the sea of tranquility which will take you to eternity. Now I have aptly named of these paintings have evolved "Eternal Space '."

She came all the way into space. His paintings have a play of light and shadow, subtle shades of colors that give depth to his work, but you can not tell which part is closer and the one below. The parties seem to vacillate as you see them with mesmerizing effect. The shapes on the canvas seem to be moving, but the spirit.
