Holmes Space Heater

Holmes Space HeaterIs using a heater a good alternative?

I just bought this heater compact Holmes, I'm not sure if its safe to use in my home? I wondered whether the aid could cause tripping of the circuit? I just moved into a new house and seems to be cold all the time ..... I just want to heat the TV room, so please advice if its safe to use a heater? If so, what precautions should I take? Thank you in advance ....

What I really think you should consider is to determine why this room is cold? What type of heat do you actually have in the house? Is it steam, hot water or hot air? The heaters are an affordable alternative to the problem, but they could not give enough heat when his .. already cold

I heard all the scary stories and if used correctly they are safe to use. I keep mine on medium heat, no curtains or loose rugs nearby. no small children around, no extensions, so it runs continuously and does not stop periodically, it's so cold in the room where he can not keep, use other means to heat too, keep them free of dust, I keep mine in my neighborhood to my little feet to maximize use, do not heat an entire room, turn off when you leave the house. This is my experience, I hope it helps you.

Of course, it is safe when used as recommended. They switch safety devices which cut if returned. Heater like yours are 1500 watts of power, well within the capabilities of the circuit. If you have connected a single holding in the room you should have no problem at all. If more than one is connected you have a potential of over loading the circuit and the circuit breaker. Just reset the breaker a gesture one of the heaters to a different location.
