Growing Rocket

Growing RocketI am more and more rockets, but there are small holes in the leaves which might be the cause?

Hi all,

If it looks like any of the foregoing, it is flea. Although they may spoil the look of your hand, your leaves are still edible. If you place your hand near the ground you'll probably skip. You can buy sticky traps, but I do not know how they will be successful as I prefer not to use them as they will also catch insects well as bad.

Hope this helps and wish you a good growing season. Be happy :-)

Slugs?

Probably snails - I am having the same problem with my green beans yet.

Depending on the size of the plants I put the cardboard tube inside is a toilet roll or kitchen roll on the plant in the evening, complete with a small potted plant.

In the morning, the board can be a bit chewed but did not get the snails in the factories.

Another solution is to get a strip of copper self-adhesive - you can buy from this place online auction size! - And thrown around pots or on fences or walls, etc. to make a barrier between your plants and the snails / slugs.

Aparently they are on the copper, it gives them a mild electric shock to stop them in their tracks!
