Anyone can wear a custom embroidered patch if they wish, but what does this mean? What is the significance of the patch?

Companies employ custom embroidered patches too often as a way to identify employees. The patch becomes part of the uniform that employees wear, and a visible link to the employer. If the patch carries the company logo, it can encourage the company to the public.

With today's embroidery machines controlled by computer, custom embroidered patches are a cost-effective, highly visible way to make a statement.
